Nauseating Thought

I am shocked to hear a visitor,

'Ready to honor a Prime Minister, 

a Chief Minister,

No respect for ward member, sarpanch, zillaparsad',

It's why ?

They are uneducated and corrupt,

They are, I said, 'directly elected, and around us,

They know what are we all'.

Indirect, and far away, looks always better.

Like, wife and mother, of others,

Even if they care, knows the strength and weakness and to us they are closer and our lovers,

Resourcelessness and powerlessness are the causes, are my conclusion.

Indian democracy is weak,

As our local bodies are powerless and resourceless, though they know what is the best and local resources are enough but in the clutch of Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

In panchayats, and zilla parisad, we need enough teachers, doctors, engineers, technicians and wisdom,

If it's given, in our hands we will have best leaders,

Chief ministers and prime minister, can change the structure and system, but they will not do as we the so called educated, are their solicitors.

Its not reticence, its nauseating thought.

You need a poem,

But I've a thought.
